PROJECT LIFE 2013 | Week Fourteen + An Insert

I put together my Week Fourteen exclusively with Studio Calico's Project Life Add-On Kit for May, Halley's Comet. I used some of this month's awesome digital brushes from Studio Calico to add that pop of yellow too. Photoshop tip: Change your layer to Multiply to have the background image show through.

I loved focusing my images on more everyday things this week. A dinner out, a trip to the grocery store. I know I'll love to see it all later.

How great are the Atlantic burnished wood veneers from Studio Calico? Love the rich texture.

 

I used the Planetarium Spring Snaps Digital Layout Template in the 6x12 size to make an insert for my album. I don't do these enough! I love how inserts can really focus on a specific event or theme. For the back of my template, I used the heart and text elements from the template again to anchor my journaling and added a strip of patterned paper.

PROJECT LIFE 2013 | Week Thirteen

I put together my Week Eight exclusively with Studio Calico's Project Life Kit for May, Planetarium. Such a great kit with bold colors. This was the week leading up to Easter, hence the bunny craft.

I also used some of the Studio Calico digital brushes from May to add the word art to a few of the images. Maggie and her sunglasses. So cute.

I played mix and match with a few of the journal cards by cutting them up and putting them back together with my Tiny Attacher. A great soultion if you mess up a card and want to save part of it.

I am so crazy for the fabric-topped paper clips. I'm starting to see more things like paper flags show up on clips, I love it. Also, note the photo of my new toy, my Cameo! Really loving it so far.

PROJECT LIFE 2013 | Week Nine

I just realized that I never shared this week with you. Sorry for jumping around!

This spread was put together with the April Project Life Add-On Kit from Studio Calico. Love all of the variety. My love for clean design applied to the gorgeous circle veneer 3x4card. I left it untouched, it's so fabulous!

 

I used one of the diamond digital layout templates in the 4x6 design and the quote bubble digital layout template in 3x4 below. So easy to edit! Keep in mind that the colors in the diamond templates are editable too. These digital templates are only for sale until April 28th, so make sure to nab some before they're gone.
