Most of my Christmas to-do list has been checked off, so I'm finally getting to posting about my December Daily pages. This is a scrapbooking project created by Ali Edwards to document each day in month as the holiday season unfolds. I really wanted to tackle this since I loved putting together my Week In The Life album this summer.
Not the easiest time of the year to complete, but I'm making it work because I know I'll thank myself later. I'll finish it up after Christmas and plan to do a post with the final product. Until then, here's a peek at some of my favorite layouts so far:
DECEMBER 3

For all of these layouts, I'm using a combination of Ali Edwards' Holiday Hand Drawn Brushes and letters from my Glitter Alphabet or Glitter Tags. The glitter elements are my favorite thing I've designed all year. So much fun to play with and I'm thrilled with how they look right out of my home printer.

I added the date with a clear stamp by 7Gypsies on one of my printable airmail labels. I attached it with a mini stapler I've had it since high school!

DECEMBER 4

I'm doing several layouts with little patterned paper dividers that include the dates. For this one, I made a fun tab with SMASH decorative tape. Rudolph paper by Hobby Lobby, polka dot paper by Jenni Bowlin.

DECEMBER 11

Oh Santa, what a day. I wanted to keep this day simple because it is all about the photo. Love how the transparency looks like a frosty window pane.

DECEMBER 12

I shot the photos for our Christmas card on the 12th, so I included here. I do Hallmark postcards every year because you can upload your own design and they address and mail them for you! I wanted to be able to read the message on the back so I attached it to vellum.

These pages will all go in 5.5 x 8.5 page protectors and I'll use binder rings to hold them all together. I'm also thinking of including all of the Christmas cards we get like I did with my baby shower cards.
There you have it! Are you making a December Daily album? How's it going?
