Over the weekend a friend of mine asked me how I find the time to do Project Life with work, kids, etc. Honestly, I'm just wired to make stuff. I have little pockets in my week to do my own thing and I pounce. It's like therapy. This has become part of my routine with blogging and working on digital products. (Rolling out some fun things soon, btw.) Thanks for coming along for the ride!
The "Follow Your Heart" sign is from the $1 bin at Target. I couldn't resist taking a pic.
Last week I mentioned that some creative readers thought to use my days of the week elements in PL, so I tried it out for myself. Good times! I'm thinking of using them with pattern overlays in the future. Download the PNG files for free here.
I also included my Day in the Life layouts back to back in one 8.5x11 page protector.
I added my own date strip to papers from My Mind's Eye and Echo Park.
The b&w is one of my favorite images from the week. The girls took it of themselves on our laptop. Doing all the work for me!
I included an email Jim forwarded me from one of his students. It's just so darn cool. So nice to know he's appreciated. (To make this card I took a screenshot of the email and formatted it within a 3x4 document.)
The journaling cards this week are from the Clementine kit except the blue card I made for Charlotte. Circle punched photo + my own title strip + scrap paper.
I put together this little vignette in Photoshop. I scanned in Maggie's paintings and added one of my Printable Vintage Labels. Think she likes attention?
I've received a lot of Photoshop questions lately, so I'm going to attempt some video tutorials soon. Sound good?
Project Life is a simplified scrapbooking system created by Becky Higgins to help document your memories. Check out the previous posts about my album, including free downloads here.
