Week Seven, let's do this!
I went for it with a Valentine's Day theme this week. All pink and schmoopy. I made the LOVE title card with the Glitter Alphabet digital elements from my shop, adding color to match the patterned papers I used by Cosmo Cricket and Authentique.
I like to make a few images black and white every week. Especially on the busier photos to tone them down.
I used my SMASH date stamp for the first time this week. It has fun hipster mom sayings like "Mad Props" and "Oh, Snap." I used "Hot Mess" for a story about Maggie's meltdown at Target.
I'm also trying to capture more details of our life like those little tiny cups and plates. They won't be in that cabinet forever...
Way before I started this project, Jim started taking daily notes for the girls. For my birthday this year he made a Blurb book with a year's worth of entries. I pulled from his notes this week and made this card in Photoshop.
I really love the little series of Charlotte's feet. She was wearing overalls that day too. The cute factor was through the roof! The photo of me with Maggie was taken with our laptop, using that camera more than I ever have with this album.
I hole-punched our Valentine's Day cards to include in the album. There aren't that many so it's not too bulky.
