Today we're celebrating the second birthday of our sweet, silly, curious and loving girls. Much more low key than last year, no party, but they were perfectly happy with presents and balloons. I made them little cakes in the 5" round pans I bought for their first birthday smash cakes, I'm thinking it could be fun tradition to keep up with every year.
These photos are from their first haircut a few weeks ago. They were so good, sat perfectly still for my longtime hairdresser Sandy. It felt like yesterday that I was discussing fertility woes with her, then waddling in with my big ol' pregnant self to get a pre-delivery haircut. What a ride!
P.S. I hope you all fared well with Hurricane Irene. I'm so grateful we have power unlike so many friends and family.
