I love me some Madonna, so I was thrilled to see a great post by Hooked on Houses on Madonna's Manhattan apartment. The photos are from a May 2007 Architectural Digest article that I never caught. I love getting a glimpse such a private home.
The interior design is by Madonna's brother Christopher Ciccone, who is now estranged from his sister and has written a tell all book, "Life With My Sister Madonna"
There are elements of the design I like--the apartment itself is beautiful and she has an impressive art collection that includes artists like Picasso and Salvador Dali. On the flip side, I'm not loving some of the color choices and the crazy rugs. Plus, the kitchen could be so incredible with the resources available to her. Is that a ceramic tile floor?
